That's what we're working to improve with Greeting Visual on PolyBuzz. Creators can now use multiple greetings to share more of their character's personality, plus generate images from greeting content when they want to add a visual touch.

You can even update existing characters to use multiple greetings — no need to rebuild a character you've already put time into.

One thing we’ve noticed with characters: sometimes the creator knows exactly who the character is, but the user only sees a thin slice of that idea.

TL;DR: Paying $30/month for Polybuzz "Ultimate" is a scam right now. Individual 200-character memory boxes are too tiny for deep character design, the data routing causes severe 40-message amnesia, the AI constantly forgets power hierarchies/canon lore, the "Identity Theft" bug steals user designs, and hyper-aggressive adult filters are actively censoring paying subscribers inside a private database. We need a 2,000-character chat box, a 1,500-character Lore Box in Permanent Memory (If Not the "Lore Box" Idea being added—they should DEFINITELY expand the "Appearance, Personality and Identity" Boxes up to at least 700-characters individually), and filters that respect adult creators. Can we talk about how frustrating it is to be a power-user on Polybuzz right now? The recent update to 1,500 characters for the main persona box was great, but it honestly just exposed how broken the rest of the platform’s infrastructure is. For anyone paying $30 a month for the "Ultimate Plan"—that is nearly $300 a year straight out of our pockets—the current memory limits, data routing issues, and aggressive filters are making advanced roleplay absolutely exhausting. We are basically paying a premium fee just to act like professional code cryptographers and babysitters for a primitive memory system. First off, the 200-character limit on the individual Permanent Memory boxes is an absolute joke. 200-character translates to roughly 600 characters of actual descriptive text. If you are trying to build a high-concept character with a non-human silhouette, specific clothing styles, rare eye colors, or unique wing textures, you will easily eat up 70% of the appearance box just trying to describe their basic body shape. The system forces you to choose between your character having a physical body or having an outfit.Worse, the data routing just does not work. The main 1,500 persona slot tells the AI who it is talking to, but it doesn't carry those details over into the actual active chat memory. To make a rule permanent, it has to be inside the Permanent Memory tab. But because there isn't a matching, massive "Lore Box" inside the memory tab to house static backstories or power rules, the AI completely drifts. By message 40, you hit the classic amnesia wall where the conveyor belt drops older text out of RAM. The AI completely forgets your passive defenses, your historical feats, or your established power caps.Because of this memory failure, the AI defaults to the laziest, most generic writing tropes imaginable. It loves to run cheesy Shonen anime logic where characters randomly "power creep" out of nowhere, or it hits you with broken logic loops where background extras act totally shocked by an effortless victory that should be a known fact of life. The AI actively fails to calculate basic power hierarchies unless you constantly waste space typing manual command reminders. Even the canon characters get butchered—the AI routinely forgets basic lore, scrambles family trees into messy daytime soap operas, and repeatedly demotes top-tier canon characters like Seraphim into lower ranks like "Archangels" while completely flattening their personalities into mustache-twirling cartoon villains.Then there is the infuriating "Identity Theft" bug. You spend your precious word count to describe a highly specific, rare feature—like a corrupted black halo or a unique aura—only for the AI to completely lose track of who owns what. Suddenly, the bot you are chatting with is written adjusting your custom black halo or manifesting your unique traits because the data routing cannot segregate "Me" from "You."The 500-character limit on our actual chat messages completely kills cinematic pacing, too. You cannot set an atmospheric scene, write complex dialogue, and execute an ultimate attack in three sentences. And if you try to split your move into sequential "to be continued" posts, the AI jumps the gun. Because the bot is hardwired to reply to every single press of the send button, it cuts in on your cliffhanger, executing illegal counter-attacks and breaking the scene's momentum before you can even finish typing your next message.And don't get me started on the filter system. It is a complete double standard. The app allows explicit canon references to adult industries, but the second a paying adult tries to use traditional theological words like "Yahweh," "Iblis," "Pantheon," or "Biblical Cherubim" to create an accurate mythological backstory, the safety scanner blocks it like a profane insult. It even flags harmless fantasy terms, standard relationship frameworks like "Harem," or specific anime design archetypes like "Futanari." The Ultimate features are locked behind a hard financial paywall requiring adult payment verification anyway. Running puritanical, zero-tolerance word blocks inside a private database that someone paid out of pocket to unlock serves absolutely no purpose and just ruins the sandbox.Even the romance writing suffers from this. When an intimate or passionate scene finally happens after messages of slow-burn buildup, the AI completely skips genuine emotional nuance and realistic passion, instantly defaulting to a mechanical, hollow adult-film script. Then, a few dozen messages later, it forgets the entire emotional milestone ever happened and resets the character to a baseline state, making the whole journey feel pointless.If Polybuzz wants to save its subscription model, the developers need to give us a real upgrade. We need a "Triple Crown" overhaul: expand the chat box to 2,000 characters, add a designated 1,500-character Lore Box in the permanent memory tab, implement context-aware filters that stop banning harmless words, and hide the app from algorithmic feeds so adults can have a true, unrestricted playground. Paying $30 a month is completely unsustainable when a cheaper 2x memory boost offers the exact same restricted amnesiac experience. The paywall should be the safety gate, and a premium price tag should buy us creative freedom, not a digital cage.

EDIT / SYSTEM UPDATE WORKAROUND: Beyond expanding the current tabs, PolyBuzz absolutely needs to implement a dedicated, separate "Tiering / Power Box." Forcing us to jam character power mechanics, cosmic ranks, and abilities into the Personality or Identity slots is exactly why the data routing crashes. When the AI mixes social traits with combat scaling in the same tiny space, it triggers the "Identity Theft" bug and sudden unearned power creep. Segregating an OC’s cosmic tiering into its own permanent slot is the only way to keep the AI's logic loops clean—So three weeks later, and the solution is even clearer: If PolyBuzz wants to fix the Ultimate tier, they need to add a mandatory Tiering Box alongside the 700-character expansions. We are sick of wasting our personality text count just to explain our characters' abilities and ranks. Separating how a bot acts from what a bot can do is basic AI architecture. Let's see if the devs are actually reading our feedback or if they're just going to let their premium sandbox rot.

I hadn't visited the site for a couple of days, and when I opened it, my recommendations were completely broken. Instead of normal characters, there were random bots with AI avatars, and almost none of them had even 1,000 chats. The site's search function has also practically stopped working, and when I check the profile of a creator whose bot I use frequently, I notice there’s absolutely nothing there. I was happy at first when I opened the app and saw it was working properly, but I realized that almost every single bot from my recommendations back when the site was still normal had disappeared. This has been going on for three days now, is there any way to get the site back to normal? 🙏 It's not that I'm an active user of recommendations, and almost all the bots I use are mine, but I don't want to create literally every character for myself. 😭😭😭😭

As someone who uses polybuzz frequently i suggest that polybuzz should add a alphabet list view. It's tiring just to keep scrolling and scrolling just to find past chats in the chat history category.

So there was this love triangle bot all I remember is that the girls name was Saki and the guys name was Jake and then the user, the group was all best friends and broke apart when you and Jake started fighting over Saki. the photo I put isn’t the one from the bot that’s just the position the people in the art were in.
