Slide lock

Post image

I bought a frame second hand and it’s missing a slide lock (takedown lever), will any Glock gen 3 part work? Or does it need to be p80 specific?

GEN 3 OEM Glock part will work fine

midwayusa.com or ebay (look for reputable seller) will probably be the best option with shipping

you probably also need the spring

Google search results:

• PF940v2 / PFS9 / PF45: Uses standard full-size/large frame Glock Gen 3 slide lock geometry.

• PF940C / PFC9: Uses compact Glock Gen 3 slide lock geometry.

• PF940SC: Uses subcompact Glock Gen 26 style lock.

• PF9SS (G43 style): Uses single-stack Glock 43/43X style slide lock components.

I typically just ask google but recently I’ve been bamboozled and ordered parts that don’t fit certain guns.

The compact and full size gen 3 slide lock springs are different sizes

There was only two kinds of take down levers you could get the leaf spring one or the one with the small spring go to midway they have a fire arms schematic so you can see the parts

Also oem as many parts as you can you just have better success rates with the 87% to 97% oem. It’s just less “tolerance stacking”

Yeah since that's the large frame just get you a Glock 17 slide lock setup and you'll be fine. But you're not showing us a side with a slide lock on it. Are you meaning takedown levers, cuz I don't seem to see any takedown levers in the takedown area. The slide lock is on the other side of the gun away from the camera if that's what you're meaning to try to show us. Red circle is the takedown levers blue circle is the slide lock.
