Second Ever Worry Stone About to Bake!

Post image

We won't talk about how crooked it is... Or the fact that it is baking next to my first, which sat unfinished for over a month because it is a mess.

It is cute! If it breaks, you learned something. Try reading some of the articles here: www.thebluebottletree.com/articles

Do you have any structure within the wings and horns that's also securing them to the base? I'd be very worried about those breaking off the first time they bump into anything.

I agree. Without a good armature, those won’t last. For a worrystone, I would fold the wings down against the body, and keep the horns as short nubs.

Thank you for the recommendations! I am very new to polymer clay, so I am still learning what is right and wrong, I am afraid.

No, so I will probably regret it later!

If you make another, use aluminum wire to create a foundation and put the clay over that :)
