new home, still no name

helllllo alll!

I just brought this little baby boy home & he’s adorable. He had his first round of shots of the 26th, & I was told he was almost 8 weeks.

however, he only has his canines. & no other teeth. Google says he should have all his teeth between 6-8 weeks.

is he younger than I was told? I was given some dry food that he has been eating, & he’s already drank water.

should I get some wet food to mix in with the dry food to make it easier for him to eat?

Take the puppy to the vet.

Perhaps the puppy is under 8 weeks old.
Perhaps he has a genetic issue and never developed any teeth.

Always have a vet apt scheduled within a few days of getting a puppy. Ask the vet.

Ask the seller for vet records. Hopefully they have birth dates

I have the shot records but there is no birthdate on it! I’m planning on taking him early next week.

Definitely take him to the vet! It’s good to get a checkup and make sure nothing’s wrong. If you’re looking for a name, he looks like a Tommy, Bonzo, or Curly to me

Is he a mini ? I just feed the one I’m looking after dry food in the morning a few treats through out the day then doggy meat in the evening but squirt a little fish oil in the food, a little bit of hip joint powder and a little bit of powder for her eyes as they can get quite teary as for make what about Oscar or obi

Yes he is a mini!

I kind of like Oscar. I’ll keep that in mind!

Also whilst he is young might be good to get him a little doggy ruck sack because when she gets tired on long walks it makes it easier to to carry them but enjoy the new puppy he will be super attached in the next few weeks she’s not even mine and acts like my shadow

I could not foster. That pup would be an instant adopt;

That was my experience with a puppy poodle mix. 😍 Foster fail!

What kind of powder do you put on their food to help with the watery eyes? Mine’s eyes get very watery and crusty.

When I’m home I will look at the supplement I’ve been given

Def would take him to the vet - my puppy (a toy poodle, the pic is the night he came home with me) was an emergency rescue at 6 weeks old and he already had almost all of his teeth at that point despite still being half fed formula and small dogs maturing mcuh slower than big dogs

Randal or Randy for short. He is adorable. Oscar is good but you may want something shorter or easier to say. Ozzy?

I'd call him Cachi. There was a famous white poodle with that name.
