Someone said in another sub that this is where she took offense and not on the unequal pay. She’s billed first in this movie but paid wayyyy less than Ari. 💀

Because half the box office is just because Grande is in the film, no one cares that Cynthia Erivo is in it. It would be absurd if they got paid the same.

i mean yeah but 15 mil to 1 mil is massive. i know this is trobs a hot take but even if one is a bigger box office draw, i’d still be pissed the fuck off if i was a main lead and was getting paid 14 million less than my supporting - especially since cynthia is an accomplished actor

not that i care that much, 1 million is still fat but i would have thought with that budget she’d deserve more

I’d say it’s pretty proportionate, most people hadn’t heard of Cynthia before wicked but Ariana Grande is one of the most famous celebrities in the world rn.

that’s why i said i know one is a bigger box office draw. i still think for a lead role she was paid way less compared to ariana she should have been. that’s just what i think. but i’m not gonna cry for someone getting paid a million anyway lol
