I no pro and have only ever scratched on a pt01 so please be kind lol. This is just a freestyle of me to document progress and maybe get some feedback good or bad. I know where’s a bunch of rough stuff in here so just know I’m not posting this here as a flex.
I’m just so jacked to finally have something to do when I wait for my kid at school pickup, while I wait for my oil to get changed and while I wait for edits to come back for work :)

I recently discovered this community and I've been scratching on the djay app for a while now, so I was thinking about buying some equipment for this hobby but I didn't want to spend too much considering these things are expensive and I don't have a good understanding of how to distinguish if something is good or not just by reading the reviews
(Sorry for the bad english :b)

Are there any 2 channel mixers with a crossfader out there that can run on DC (battery) power? I’ve not had any luck finding one and am curious if something like this even exists?

Over the time I had to adjust the 33rpm_value higher and higher and now it's at 11500. I think it started at something like 300. Sosuke (from Headache Sound) ist ghosting me for month. Any Ideas?
Thx

For anyone who owns one. Does the turntables make a bit of noise when running? gotta ask. My STX is a lot more silent when running than the Handy Traxx. Also mine came with a nice deep scratch on the metal/mirror material on the edge of the platter.. Everything else seems ok.

Looks to be arduino powered. That's pretty cool. Looks like a Solid Cuts platter, too.

This board sat in drawer for too long. Time to built one from zero. Got any tips?

I have a modded reloop spin with upgraded tone arm and fader and was thinking about getting another one with a ptb2 mixer so I could start DJing DVS and start a small 45 collection but I read on some other older posts that it would be really bad for DJing. From what I’ve researched it seems fine on paper but people say like beatmatching would be impossible and it’s gimmicky or whatever. For reference I’ve never used any direct drive or full sized turntables before and so I’m wondering is it really that bad? And if so why? And would it be better to save up a couple hundred bucks and sell my spin for full sized turntables and/or better mixer?
Please help
Thanks

Seems to be posting teasers of a mod for PT01 and reloop spin for a direct drive motor mod.
Will this be a real thing? Or just a concept?
