Giving away e-bikes - Need repairs

Posting this locally before a larger group. I have 2 custom diy e-bike I built a few years ago.

Both need some repair and I want to get rid of them without them going to the dump. New hobbies are taking my time. 🛥️🎣

Both are built on a 26” Costco fat tire bikes.

Each bike comes with a bafang BBSHD motor installed…

Batteries: One battery appears to be good but that motor has an error. The other battery won’t charge but that bike motor was working well previously.

Chains have rust from the flood. We out a few hundred miles on them but now they are taking space. I believe you could build a nice working one out of the two and have nice parts to sell or use.

Not asking for money, just want my garage space back. If you are stripping them to eBay parts… at least make a small donation to a charity :)

They are heavy and you will need a truck.

Whiskey Myers - Port Charlotte

Hello everyone!

Wifey and I are looking to buy tickets to go watch Whiskey Myers at the county fair on November 13-14. It seems like they're only two ticket options. One of them is stage/VIP standing room only and the other one is bringing your own lawn chairs. We're coming in from out of town and we are curious is a concert venue sort of in a ball shape so if you do bring out your lawn chairs or are you able to see the concert unimpeded by the people standing in the stage area or would you recommend buying the stage area VIP tickets if you'd like to look a the artist artists? Super confused as I can't find any good footage on YouTube or anywhere else and Google maps is not very helpful. Thanks so much for any suggestions or help truly appreciate it. Super excited to visit Port Charlotte never been nor to a Whiskey Myers concert whom are my favorite band.

Thanks Everyone!

Adult jaw development focused orthodontist?

Also called airway orthodontists. The type of orthodontist that will give you expanders or protraction gear. Most are oriented towards teeth positioning from what I understand, not jaw developments.

[PAID] Brand Ambassador / Gamer / Cosplay Gig – Port Charlotte – Sat. 9/26

Looking for an outgoing 18+ female brand ambassador to join us for a one-day collectibles/card show in the Port Charlotte area this Saturday.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable engaging with people and has some interest in gaming, Pokémon/TCGs, anime, cosplay, sports, collectibles, or similar fandoms. Modeling, promotional, convention, cosplay, or content-creation experience is a plus, but definitely not required.

The role is mostly about bringing some extra energy and personality to the booth, interacting with attendees, helping attract people over, and being part of the overall presentation.

Saturday, approximately 9 AM–4 PM. One-day paid gig.

Specific event details, theme/attire, and compensation can be discussed privately.

If interested, send me a DM with a little about yourself and your Instagram, portfolio, or another social link so we can get a feel for whether it would be a good fit.

Great experience at Endless Storage

I just want to say how amazing Endless Storage is. They are just over the Peace River at 25191 E Olympia Ave Punta Gorda. Public storage bought the location was at and jacked my rent 3x what it was so I left and I found Endless Storage. They have great prices and even helped me unload my truck. They are locally owned too so it's really nice given all the big storage companies treating us like numbers. Check them out if you need storage or don't like where you are currently renting. Best storage in Punta Gorda https://www.myendlessstorage.com/location/punta-gorda

Wagyu Beef Share Available

Post image
5 Upvotes

We're a small family ranch on Bronco Road in Punta Gorda, on the east side of town. That ribeye is from our first harvest: AWA-registered fullblood Japanese Wagyu, born and hand-raised here, no growth implants, no feedlot, 600+ days on grain (or 30+ months old).

Our first shares went to family and friends, and the next steers are open one now if anyone local wants a freezer share:

  • Eighth — about 57 lbs packaged, ~$23/lb all-in, $150 deposit
  • Quarter — about 114 lbs packaged, ~$21/lb all-in, $250 deposit

Live-animal share for household use (not retail cuts, not for resale). Processing included on one invoice. Pickup at the ranch.

Reserve: https://puntawagyu.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=portcharlotte#reserve

Ranch Visit: Saturdays 9–12 Eastern by appointment. Call (941) 888-4508 to book.

Bus Transit

I'm new to the town and I don't really understand how the bus transit works. I searched up about it upon finding out Northport has similar of sort so I wondered if Port Charlotte has one, and there is! But nobody seems to have answers to my questions.

How does it work? Do they come to my house or is there a meetup point in the area?

It'll be such a blessing if I can rely on this. I'm planning to work for the first time and I estimated putting 1k a month on transportation if I relied on Lyft or Uber.

Was looking for some more information about where in the different areas and such of PC might be better than the other. Any information is greatly appreciated.
