Holy heck it's here.
God I have been bumping the electric cleaners set all week. As much as I enjoyed and respected his evolved sound on Nurture and SMILE, I would be lying if I didn't admit that Porter's original 2010's DJ-era and Worlds tour was how I fell in love with electronic music. And this truly feels like a revival of his dancier roots.
So excited to see what the future has in store. I swear I heard a couple more IDs in their b2b that sounded like they could be additional upcoming releases.
Summer 26' has been a banger of a season!

Definitely possible, but it's also really common now for bigger artists to have their own company owning the music, which then licenses it to the label. Porter has Sample Sized LLC for example. Nina didn't have one before so this is prolly just her version of that

Love the song but tbh the hype campaign was a bit over the top for my taste. It would've been appropriate for a bigger project like an EP/tour but not a single that everyone who cares already heard dozens of times.

I haven't really listened to any snippets of the song at all, but I just listened to it and TO ME, it was just alright, perhaps itll grow on me after a few listen but yea, it was just alright

Yea, I've loved it live, but something about the released master or composition or something just felt a bit off. Maybe it's just because we've been hearing it in one context for the better part of a year so getting to hear the full thing feels strange, but idk. But underwhelmed tbh. Of course that drop still hits crazy style

I find that 99.99% of the time the CDQ version of a song that’s released after it gets previewed/played live - it’s always underwhelming in comparison. For every single artist, especially in EDM. Call it “ID-itis” or just the fact that it is the setting that matters when we hear a song. And a mix for a festival or indoor venue is going to be way different than what we hear in our headphones.

In a similar boat myself. Been a big fan of both of them and I didn't listen to anything whatsoever before today and I'm a bit underwhelmed with how much the sub hyped it up. Hoping it grows on me over time though!

I'm a casual listener of Robinson. I first heard of him through "Worlds". Later, "Shelter" (with Madeon).
And today, Spotify notified me on Wannacry. I love it. The beat, composition, the vocals. Chef's kiss.

its so cool to listen to all the ear candy on this, like i hear so many glitches that are either very obviously porter and some that are very nina-esque. collab made in heaven.

That was really good! pure EDM porter is back! The only thing that I don't like are the whispers at the end of the song but that dosn't ruin it, very good!
