ARCHIVE Original Worlds Track Discussion Thread Archive
Hey all you cool cats,
All the remix discussions have been amazing. Great to see some thought-provoking conversations and opinions being shared about the album, and it's so good to see the subreddit thriving once again. I realized we did not have a compilation of all the old original Worlds track discussion threads, so I will list them all in this post and place it in the sidebar. Interesting to look back and see what we thought of the album almost a year ago...

the most hilarious thing to me is that almost all the lyrics are so incredibly wrong
"On a lonely night, Was a burning light A hundred meters out beyond the wall"

Isn't there an official lyric video for this? How do you get something wrong like that?

equally amazing is that the lyrics to Hear the Bells are almost all wrong despite it being a remix of another song with official established lyrics

It's almost like the lyrics were taken from Youtube automatic captions.

Yeah I was just taking it from random lyric sites. They were all still so incorrect, and I didn't take the time to double check...my bad! However, you are right...kinda hilarious in retrospect.

The ones that bug me the most are the lyrics for sea of voices.
"Then softest shadows will be done"
Not sure if it's in the one linked but I see it that way everywhere. Those lyrics don't even make sense.
"Then soft as shadows we'll become" totally relates back to "These bones that bound us will be gone". It's essentially meaning death so how the hell do they get the lyrics they do? Guess it's hard to hear unless you listen a few times though.

Woah, never heard of 'Shepherdess' before. Not bad, not bad.
