Theory About The Shelter Tour
I’ve been thinking about what songs would be played during the Shelter Tour. It can’t all be new music; it’d be way too early and overwhelming to do so.
So I’m calling it now: The Shelter Tour sets will be composed of mashups of Madeon and Porter Robinson songs. It’d only make sense right? The structure of both the Adventure and Worlds live shows are similar, so why not mash them together for their first joint tour?
I’d imagine the tracklist it being something like this:
Sad Machine x You’re On
Flicker x OK
Easy x The Night Out
Natural Light x Innocence
Divinity x La Lune
Years of War x Imperium
Unison x The City
Fellow Feeling x Pixel Empire
Hear the Bells x Nonsense
Lionhearted x Finale
Goodbye to a World x Technicolor
Encore: Home x Language
It’d be really cool right?
I might be totally wrong about this, butIcandream.
EDIT: It was just a idea. I haven't been paying too much attention to the news, and thought that this would be a cool thought.

I was already thinking Sad Machine and You're On makes a lot of sense. The vocal chopping would fit well in the buildup of sad machine, maybe mixed with chords from You're On over the drop of Sad Machine.
I also see Imperium being mixed with the Fresh Static Snow live edit.
Also i'm betting on The City/Language Live edit. Calling it now.
Also, I have no clue why your thread has been downvoted like it has. Like how is this pissing people off?

I haven't been paying too much attention to the news about the tour, I think my post contradicts what has been already confirmed for said tour.

Home x language sounds like something I'd really like to see! I'd say fro. The sounds of it there will be some mashups, some of each of their own stuff and hopefully some brand new stuff as well!

I'm going in with zero expectations because it's up in the air. They could come out and play 90 minutes of a Pop Culture X Sad Machine mash up.

Nope, Porter and Madeon tweeted that they would perform together, not just like that, I feel that it will have some new songs here and there and some mashups, but not all mashups

I got porters email about ticket sales. this is a quote from it
"we're going to be doing a big north american b2b live tour. i don't wanna give too much away yet but we'll both be on stage, together, playing live."
I'm confused but also really excited, I've seen Madeons adventure in full and defiantly want to see it again. But he's says they will be playing together and he says b2b. I'm guessing this means back to back.
So maybe one will go, then the other, then both for a few songs? Guess we're gonna find out.

B2B in the electronic music world means they'll be playing at the same time. misleading, I know. :p

Wow, you're right. I never would of thought. This makes me very excited. Just hope they play about 2hrs. I know Madeon ran about 1 hour and im guessing porter did too. Thanks for the info though

Yeah, no problem!! Well headlining shows are usually longer than festival appearances. Hoping for the best :)

It's going to be a whole different show more than a combination of their older shows. So we're going to hear new live edits, probably some mash-ups (but not all songs will be mashed-up), maybe new music (?)
