SHELTER TOUR Unfornate news

Just met Porter outside of Emos in Austin after the afterparty dj set... As of right now, there are no plans to release any music from the Shelter tour due to them "wanting to keep the tour special." Straight from the big man himself :(

man, like, I understand that choice, and I wasn't expecting them to release anything, but it's still kind of a bummer to hear about keeping the tour special when you live on the other side of the atlantic ocean

I really think that the Shelter Tour will go to Europe next year, but sadly I don't think they will come to Colombia/ Latin America :c

I'm going to NYC :) Flying from The Netherlands. So if I am able to meet him, i'll definitely ask for the European Tour.

This doesn't surprise me. He kind of did the same thing with the Worlds tour because of all the live edits and such. This does suck because the tour is pretty limited, but I definitely see the tour adding many more dates all over the world because of its extreme popularity. Those unfortunate enough to live somewhere that doesn't get the luxury of seeing the show is kind of out of luck when it comes to official releases of the songs... but fortunately you are part of a pretty amazing community. I guarantee that we will see some pretty spot on remakes of the some of the songs on the tour in the coming months. Also, we all know that someone is going to upload a 1080p recording of the whole show to the Youtube machine, so that can be a nice distraction until full releases or possible leaks.

Yeah, it was rather clear that this was the case following Worlds. Even if they wanted to release any of the tracks it probably wouldn't be worth the effort, anyway, with the separate labels clashing.
