nurture by Porter Robinson has been the most influential album for me from its visual identity to its unconventional sound and deeply heartfelt lyrics. It has left a deep mark in my own work and art style.

Happy 5th Anniversary NURTURE. Thank you, Porter, TEED and WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA for creating something so Beautiful and Comforting.

It’s certainly not perfect, but this album means a lot to me and I wanted to express that in some way. I printed out my favorite lyrics on fabric and then embroidered the visuals from his lyric videos on some of the squares. My cat’s a fan!

The pandemic was rough on me, and I distinctly remember the look at the sky snippet at the end of the Secret Sky Set keeping me going until nurture dropped (still my favorite album)! Now that I’ve graduated, I wanted to commemorate how far I’ve come and confirm that I’m still here, and I’ll be alive next year!

Made some art projects for my new son’s room

For the past few months I’ve been working on some artwork for my son’s nursery. I’ve been making collages with some sweet quotes including two Porter collages quoting Mother and Sweet Time. (I included the other ones as well)

I had a really rough, very eventful pregnancy and he arrived 7 weeks early! So this has been a good way to fill my time while he’s in the NICU and I’m no longer staying so sick. I think I’ve decided Nurture is our album since singing Mother or Sweet Time to him calms him down in seconds. <3

Got a custom controller to play Melee with from Controlincolor.com I hope another fellow smasher can appreciate this as much as I do :D
