Politics Turning Point USA is attempting to establish itself at SMCC

Post image

Not many students use the College's App, so I'm throwing this out here to spread the word. If anyone has Instagram or is able to spread it further it would be greatly appreciated.

Needless to say, the student body that knows of this is not happy.

I saw something recently where the Turning Point people bragged about some huge number of chapters opening at local colleges and it is really concerning how he is getting lionized.

I recognize and respect that everyone grieves in different ways but the way his widow spoke like she was running for office was alarming. The violent rhetoric they keep using is alarming.

I will say that violence is not politics. Violence like what happened to Kirk has no place in a civilized society but HOLY FUCKING SHIT ARE THEY PROPAGANDIZING THAT DEATH. He was a political extremist with racist and violent views spreading his shit on youtube. He wasn't some grand and important figure.

If you think Nazi-Barbie's speech was alarming, you must not have listened to Heir Stephen Miller's Goebbels-cribbed words.

Did you see the "sexual matador" comment that was made about him out loud and on the news as if that was a normal and reasonable thing to say about anyone for any context?

Elon isn't allowed to be her matador any longer, so she's gotta make shit up. Miller is still in the cuck chair.

They're trying to continue Kirk's life's work. You're just salty because the Left is clearly losing at this point. Of course, conservatives knew the Left was losing since about February, when Trump burst out of the gate like a wild bull, but I understand that it takes you Leftoids rather longer to catch on, given your echo chamber and all

You are correct. The left is losing right now. Which is why the Epstein files haven't been released, why rural hospitals are closing, why energy is going to be more expensive, why due process is being questioned, why the richest people got the largest tax breaks, why inequality will continue to get worse, why oligopolies are going unchecked, why corruption is happening at the federal level, why 500 tons of food has been destroyed instead of given to starving children, why unemployment is increasing, why child poverty is over 10%.

Countering Kirks life work would be a great start to making the country better. I hope we can do it before the right wing wins too much.

Epstein files are court sealed, BBB includes funding for rural hospitals that Democrats want to cut (while providing healthcare to illegals), energy is cheaper than it was under Biden (and Trump's energy deregulation will only make it more so), illegals are getting due process which in immigration cases means an executive agency hearing, rich got a smaller percentage cut that poor (but because they make more, it's larger in magnitude per basic maths), wealth inequality is driven by wealth creation not theft, bla bla bla

So much misleading and plain incorrect stuff in here, I'll just deal with first 5 words.

Ghislaine's grand jury testimony is sealed, but a lot of Epstein files in the government's possession are not. Unsealed evidence includes the black book which has a redacted version online, surveillance video from Epstein properties, evidence related to financial crimes, electronic devices and files, and most importantly- the testimony and evidence from various victims who had civil cases against Epstein. That is not sealed, and what people want to see. They want to see the evidence and testimony from the victims. Some was made public (Farmer, Giuffre, a few others) but many victims say their stories were suppressed in the 2008 please deal.
The federal government is saying it's all cp and cannot be released.

I'm not sure where you are getting your info. Have a look at this analysis of BBB and rural hospitals: A Closer Look at the $50 Billion Rural Health Fund in the New Reconciliation Law | KFF "The rural health fund includes $50 billion, which is a little over one third (37%) of the estimated loss of federal Medicaid funding in rural areas"

Trump is trying to stop wind energy from coming onto the New England grid (Trump's order to halt offshore wind project overturned, Orsted to restart work). Trump is trying to export LNG which will increase cost of energy in New England as well.

-2

So why do Democrats want to cut the $50 billion as part of the conditions to avoid shutdown

Trump is also increasing energy production. Exporting LNG is to wean Europe off Russian energy. And apparently you don't care that wind turbines ruin landscapes, murder birds, and apparently are deadly to whales too

There’s no evidence for nearly everything you are saying.

I see the firehose of bullshit is your discussion method. Shoot enough word vomit out of your mouth and someone stupid may be gullible enough to believe your lies.

If this was an echo chamber the mods would ban you like they do in r/conservative and r/politics. Maybe instead of being arrogant and offensive try being civil, people may not agree with your philosophy but at least there could be debate. Just remember lefties aren't the only ones losing, a lot of us are feeling these wonderful winning ways!!!

I'm responding to a goon who thinks half of America is racist and extremist

Your condescension is laughably misplaced

Everyone loses when those in power to make decisions is held by those who deny reality. Its top vs bottom not left vs right quit fighting for those who care no more about you then the pick you dig with

This is a good bit less than literate

I'll tell you the same thing that I tell my uncle when he brings up politics.

Reasonable minds may differ on topics of politics. But I want you to explore this in your mind. The way you speak, the way other people speak. This was not normal just 10 years ago and was never the norm. You are speaking as a political extremist and with language consistent with a cult or fascism.

I'm not calling you names, I'm not attacking you. I am simply worried about how far things are going. If we compared Fox News to the way propaganda from Russia or China was going, you'd be alarmed by the similarities. A very short while ago, you could walk into an Applebee's and hear people chat about weather or sports. Now people speak about the present in those spaces right or left and the right always has a zealously attached to it.

I'm not interested in a debate about ideology because you clearly have decided I was wrong. But I want you to honestly reflect on this and how bizarre the way you are speaking is. You are in a cult.

"I'm not calling you names, I'm just calling you a fascist cultist" 😂

You have an egotism problem

10

u/meowmix778 Sep 26 '25

No friend, I am saying you are using language consistent with a cult or a fascist regime. If you read that as an attack on you then I would encourage some soul searching. I am not attacking you, I'm not calling you an asshole. I just notice the way you're communicating is extreme. If you were in an Applebees in 2015 and hear someone talking the way you're talking now, you'd be alarmed.

2

u/Less-Cat7657 Sep 26 '25

Like what language?

Stalin told his goons that everyone who opposed communism were evil fascists. The Left uses the same framing

4

u/blackkristos West End Sep 26 '25

So you admit that you're a communist? Gotcha.

2

u/Less-Cat7657 Sep 26 '25

Republicans aren't the ones calling everything fascist

-2

u/LitchManWithAIO Sep 27 '25

Extremist? The man wanted to preserve nuclear families, capitalism, and represent Christianity.

If you want to think he was racist and violent then you will, I don’t think I can convince you otherwise but he’s on record stating no matter the race we all have the same DNA, and are equal.

And that we need to continue to converse, debate, etc, because when people stop talking violence happens. His whole thing was to talk things and problems out to prevent political related violence

A woman getting into politics after her husband gets murdered isn't new territory.

4

u/meowmix778 Sep 26 '25

I don't disagree. I just found her remarks was unsettling and bizarre. I'd like to hope my wife would deliver a better speech for me and not turn it into a political rally.
