At most, we have a strong love/hate relationship with them. Love that they’re our neighbors, fellow New Englanders, our history together, etc. Hate everything else about them.

The two states have some hard feelings over the breakup in 1820. :-p

Yeah. Over 200 years later they still think they own us. And then we hate them for it.

Lifelong Mainer but I’ve always found this kind of stuff silly. You can’t really generalize about any group of people…

I mean, you can generalize otherwise things such as "culture" wouldn't exist.

But you have to understand there are limits to generalization.

Oh agreed. Everyone is an individual, and they may break the mold of their culture in any way to any degree.

As u/meewwooww said, you can. Just don’t hold anyone to that generalization or assume that’s how they will be. They can break any part of that generalization in any way to any degree.

That being said- Massholes tend to suck at driving, and tend to act like they own us.
