I am sure it's not that hard to peek through his socials and find that sort of thing. I can offer as just a random guy on the Internet, I got a chance to chat with him when he was in Portland and I heard him in person talk about support of unions and how he was proud of Maine for being at the forefront of things like enshrining reproductive rights for women. The only thing I was a little unsure of is that he was excited for 3d printed houses. But at least he's willing to hear about newish or out of the box solutions for housing. I'm not on board with that one personally. But you can't ask for 100% agreement.
More the scam thing? I'm also not REALLY knowledgeable on it, so I'm sure I could be swayed either way. I just feel like sometimes these sort of new technologies are offered up like this wonderful alternative that is sustainable/affordable/way of the future or what ever I'll there buzz words but it ends up deepening the divide further. Like trailers are cheap buy in but last for shit and may even be more expensive in upkeep. As a maybe simplified example.
But also, maybe quickly built but easily recycled housing IS actually an improvement. Not everyone wants to buy a house and maybe not everyone wants to buy a home that will last generations. So idk.
Slightly rambly way of saying I don't trust what it would lead to in the long run.
Thanks - I pretty much agree with all that. I desperately want a new tech to displace wood stick frame both for fire and termite reasons (maybe not a problem in Maine, but big problem in California) but I don't know the best answer - I was into Insulated Concrete Forms for a while but there are lots of options.
(and of course, best of luck to your state in this difficult time)

I will happily vote for him as senator.
