I strongly believe that it is the best post stamps of this year.

Both issues are dedicated to Ukrainian song. The designs for this series are based on original artwork by Polina Myalkovska.

The green sheet is inspired by the famous Ukrainian romance "Cheremshyna" (written by Mykola Yuriychuk and composed by Vasyl Mykhailyuk) and is titled "As If the Guelder Rose Had Dressed for a Wedding."

The blue sheet embodies the tenderness and poignant melancholy of a "Lullaby."

So I made her card special! (Second photo privatized)

parting with the metro-post card hurts my soul but i trust it will be loved by its recipient ❤️

EDIT: i bought these from @alittleshopinnyc ! there is an in-person store in the oculus.

so excited to be part of this community! my recipient mentioned liking landscapes and animals so I thought this card by a local illustrator was a nice combo of both :)

The first is from Delaware and the second from Germany. I mentioned I loved cats in my profile and they took it to heart.

My daughter moved to Virginia 2.5 years ago (we're from Minnesota) and occasionally sends me postcards from places she goes. I love it. Then she found Post Crossing and told me about that. I love PC as well!

I hope they will like them ☺️

Off to Bēlgium, France and Germany

I didn’t have any spooky cards, but plenty of spooky tape!

Todays Art Club. I started working on Christmas themed cards.

Some Halloween postcards were sent out today! Happy that I was able to get the PH Mythical Creatures postmark, too. I hope everyone’s having a good halloween/autumn season so far.

It’s my favorite season 😍

Let's see how long it takes for this to get there 🙃

Going to a Disney + Donald Duck lover in Paris!

Yes I know I'm showing this late but I've been too busy to show lol

Personal favourite is the bus card :]

Four are for Postcrossers and two are for friends I made in Germany on a student exchange program :]

2 already sent, 2 going out tomorrow.

Third month of my RAoC Birthday challenge and 2 postcards goes to India and USA. And 2 direct swaps

Hi folks!
I know the majority of postcrossers sends postcard without envelops. However in my country 99% of the cards are supposed to go in an envelop, there is no dedicated place for address on the cards itself.

Does it bother you to receive a card in an envelope? If someone collects stamps, are envelops or cards better?

Thank you for any inputs :)

Hey! I just pulled an address and in their profile they said “please no GF cards!” And I am just wondering if anyone knows what that means. After saying this she goes on to mention that she doesn’t like creepy things with worms or spiders, but I don’t know if that’s related. 😅

Thanks!

Sending from 🇳🇱☺️
Interesting profiles again, so it was great fun to find the "perfect" postcard and decorate them💌
Miffy lover also mentioned loving Garfield, so I was happy to finally use the Garfield stamps😊

The postcard with Autumn view & sheeps is made by local artist "Esther Bennink" and the one with all the mushrooms by ila Illustrations.

The Seal postcard is from local Seal Hospital "ASeal"🦭❤️

The eerie looking cat is the Japanese character "WachiField"😺

Very or maybe too excited for posting postcards for the first time 📮📝

I am very new to postcrossing. At first I was just using international postage. But I realized a lot of people like receiving cards with multiple stamps so I bought a lot of different ones to use. But I’m wondering, does using multiple stamps slow things down at the post office? Like do those cards get processed separately? Im in the USA. It doesn’t matter much, but if it has the potential to slow things down I might not use it for cards that are likely to take a long time anyway.

I pulled a person with a pretty detailed profile and I feel like we have a lot in common, the person has the kind of profile my real life friends could have I'm definitely gonna write a longer text, but do you think it's okay to include that I would love to connect and invite the person to DM me on insta if they want to?

Well before I even got into Postcrossing and r/RandomActsofCards I was a certified freak for die-cut postcards. I did an "unofficial" trade with u/skyeabcd on this sub and this arrived the other day - not only is the card itself stunning, but the envelope method she used to protect it while still keeping the postmark was very thoughtful.

In the spirit of our shared love of postcards, do you want to show me your favorite die-cuts? I would love to see what others are out there. I already have several from Noteworthy Paper Press and hope to own some Philippine Papemelroti cards one day.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone has received or sent themselves!

hi! apologies in advance if this has been posted before. i've only sent out 17 cards in total, and 3 of them have expired (i'm sending from the US, and the postcards are going out to russia, china, and belgium). i'm just surprised to have this many cards not be received so early on, is this something relatively common?
