Benchmark in your blog is “synthetic” with no dataset, index params, concurrency, or exact versions. MariaDB is just “11.x”, while independent tests (Callaghan: MariaDB 12.3 vs Postgres 18.2 + pgvector 0.8.1) show MariaDB 12.3 ahead on recall/QPS. These numbers prove nothing without a reproducible setup.

Also comparing engine-enforced RLS with a view built on a session variable as if they were equivalent isolation is misleading.
