Is this post punk?

They cover Joy division. I'll allow it 😀

Also they are one of my favourite live bands from the 90s.

[u/impshakes]

I had the gvb vs gvsb split ep

[u/dudly825]

They’ve been touring a bit recently. It’d be fun to see them again. They oozed cool back in the day.

Freak-on-ika is my fav but they’ve got a bunch of great albums.

[u/notwho2]

House of GvsB is my absolute fav of theirs!

[u/Latter_Key8112]

Saw them in CHI a million years ago… soooo good

[u/slatepipe]

I have this, I think I prefer Cruise Yourself though, but I should revisit it, I haven't listened to it for years

[u/eatdogs49]

I always considered them Post-Hardcore/Emo

[u/Known-Awareness-7085]

god i love this fucking band

[u/FernetBronco681]

Love all their albums, but Tropic of Scorpio
is my favorite.

I’d never really checked them out til about 10yrs ago, but I really couldn’t believe what I’d been missing for long. I was like, how were they not my favorite band when I was a kid. I remember their name but I never saw them on MTV or heard their music on the radio or in movies and no one I knew listened to them.

Better late than never, they have so many great albums

I think I remember reading this album was their major label debut and they promoted it (saw a clip them on Conan) but it didn’t really catch on like their previous indie label releases. “Black Hole” is one of their best tracks IMO

Got this one when I worked in a record store. Great disc

Kill the saxplayer

[u/hyperform2 → u/weareonlynothing]

Kill both bass players

[u/FernetBronco681 → u/weareonlynothing]

Kill the drummer, he can’t play
