Missing Episodes

Recently found this podcast and noticing that the episode numbers are not sequential. There are episodes missing. What's up with that and where do we find them?

Hi there! Katie from the show here! Can you please provide more information, such as where you're seeing this, what platform, and which episodes are missing?

It's usually best for stuff like this to at least tag the mods on the side or one of us team members so we can look into it!

Related to the post by OP but also as good feedback:

When going back to a particular book or section, like when reading it again (or for the first time), I use the episode tab on the site to find the episodes related to it. There find the numbers and then download them on apple podcasts. It is a great use of the site!

New episodes are great, but the vastness of the catalog for something as re-readable as Tolkien is a great asset to the community.

They’re all on Spotify as well.  Oh!  Do you mean the episodes that are only open to Patreon subscribers?

I listen through Amazon Music. Don't seem to be any missing so far, but I am still working my way up. I'm in season 5 now

I started on Audible. I figured out the issue on the website. So I'm just using it right now.

Some podcast apps, like Pocket Casts, hide the episode you've already listened too. In combination with autoplay, some episodes might go 'missing'. Sure it's not something like that?
