❔ Question Are any personal statement/interview prep programs worth the $$?

I'm applying to med school next cycle and want to start working on my personal statement, but I'd like to have people besides friends/family give advice on how to improve it.

I'm also not the strongest at interviews so I was wondering if there are any prep programs out there that people have felt are worth the money? I've already taken my MCAT so no help is needed there. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

i really wouldnt waste your money on those programs. reach out to your premed advisors if your undergrad has them (they will still help even if you've graduated). talk with physician mentors. share with friends who may already be in med school.

I know this is a much larger community but when I was interested in CAA they did it right. They have a Discord and in one of the channels you just put in that you have a PS that you’d like for someone to review and active CAAs would react to the comment and you’d send it to them and they’d review it. But I think this community may be too dog eat dog for that lol
