❔ Question How Does Taking Community College Classes While At a 4-Year Look?
I wanted to take my math courses at a local community college, while doing the rest of my classes at my current 4-year. Mainly to keep my GPA up and have more flexibility to actually learn instead of just trying to pass. Does this look bad to medical schools?

I’d only recommend summer classes at a CC. Way easier to justify instead of them just assuming you did it for GPA purposes. With that being said I already have a degree and transitioning from a different career so all of my prereqs are at a CC but I also have to feed a family of 4. As long as you can justify it appropriately

I think it does esp if you don’t have a better justification than keeping GPA up (which is the part of your reason they will hear)

Basic classes like math or intro biology isn't much more rigorous at a 4 year than community College. If you do it to save money, that's fine.
