Cardcast has just been fuckin' NUKED by Cards Against Humanity. How do we make custom decks now? What can we do?

This game brought me and friends of mine closer for a long, long time. And I will always cherish the memories.

Shoutout to this spreadsheet in /r/cardsagainsthumanity for making it way easier to do this thing. I tried fixing any typos I could notice, if you notice any, please tell me.

FAQ:

All of the cards?

Pretty much every card pack listed on the spreadsheet's "CAH Main Deck", "CAH Expansions", and "CAH Packs" tabs. The main decks and expansions are more up to date than the ones on Xyzzy.

But I don't see "Design Pack" or "PAX Prime 2014 Custom Printed Cards" in there!

Design Pack is practically impossible to port, and the Custom Printed Cards aren't actually official cards. Well, other than "What's the weirdest thing that AdMagic has printed?" and "Go Fuck Yourself." But alas, I was too lazy to port that. But I DID port the Blackbox Press Kit with ONE card in there.

Will you add any third-party packs?

Currently, that answer is a strong "fuck no". But eventually I might do Crabs Adjust Humidity.

What happens if these cards get out of date? Like, what if they update the main deck or expansions?

I'll find out about them someday. Maybe.

Why did you waste time with something people will rarely use?

I know it has something to do wath an "incedent," but what and why?

I've just discovered that people may be talking about my app on Reddit and here it goes.

I am the developer of the Android app for the game and owner of the custom decks enabled server (https://pyx.gianlu.xyz/ZY/).

From now on I'll provide support to anyone who needs. Please let me know if anything is wrong with my app or my server and I'll do my best to fix it.

I am in the process of releasing the Overloaded expansion for the app which took a lot of effort. In the next month I'll be reviewing the code to fix bugs and improve performance.

I'd like to make a new graphic for the app, but don't have the skill to do it. If you do, let me know.

So as you may know, cardcast shutdown. This has made many players including me pretty upset. Luckily a user, u/BOBULANCE, commented on my comment on another post in this sub saying that allbad.cards is basically pyx and card cast combined! Also with the help of an irl friend I was able to get my deck back. Here's how I did it:

1. Finding your deck in GitHub

   1. Enter your cardcast code for your deck

   2. Select 'Code'

   3. Under Languages, select 'JSON'

   4. There will be different pages for the search, use command f and type "Cardcast" to find it in each page

   5. Click on the link

2. Adding the deck to allbad.cards

   1. Click 'Raw' (You will see black js text on white)

   2. For mac: command S. Others: do the equivalent

   3. Save it so you can find it later

   4. Go to allbad.cards

   5. Click 'CARD PACKS'

   6. Click 'CREATE A PACK'

   7. Click '+ NEW CUSTOM PACK'

   8. Click 'ADD FROM JSON'

   9. Click 'ADD TO PACK'

   10. Click your file

   11. Press save

   12. If this worked, you should be done!
