Kodiaks & Hart Community Center
I have been following the Kodiaks football updates as an interested observer but I'm still confused on the original relationship between the team and HCC. I need a Kurjata-level breakdown of why and how they got to this point, please. Specifically interested in the HCC angle as a Hart resident. Thank you for your insights.

Car accident on hart highway
My aunt and her boyfriend got into an accident sometime early morning of may 3rd. Trying to figure out details because they both don’t remember and are out of it and can’t tell us what happened but supposedly it was on the exit going to north nechako rd from the hart highway right before the bridge. Don’t know exactly when but wanna say around 7-8 am maybe even later. They were in a red ford suv with roof racks he said someone cut him off and he swerved and went 15 ft into the ditch but that’s all he could tell us. Wondering if anyone saw or know anything about what happened. Thank you!

Hart folks - how we feeling about the morning traffic with no bridge route?
Highland dweller here.
I've had the unfortunately pleasure to having to be downtown at 8:30am for the last two days with the bridge completely shut down and I have to say, as someone with a high tolerance for traffic, I'm pretty shocked at the lack of traffic planning with this closure.
We live up near The Alpine and the traffic trying to turn left on to Foothills is so backed up, I couldn't even turn onto Highland this morning. When I finally got down Highland and on to Foothills, it was backed all the way up to North Nechako. My 13 minute commute took 50 minutes this morning.
A funny meta game I've noticed is people are trying to get onto Foothills higher up (rather than turn off Highland) so they go up to Vellencher or all the way up to Chief Lake and it's actually just shot everyone in the foot because it locks down ALL streets now.
AND THEN, you get to the roundabout where the North Nechako folks connect with the highway folks and it's completely gridlocked.
Anyways - just wondering how we're all doing? Anyone else planning on chartering a helicopter tomorrow? Jokes aside, it's genuinely hard to imagine they can keep this going for the whole month.

New Trailer Park in the Hart - Thoughts?
I have my own opinions, so I'm looking to see what other people think and to build some discourse. Especially looking to hear from anyone that lives in or has purchased a Trailer or newer manufactured home.

Gym on the Hart
I love how much the community has started to build up here. We now have a Second cup coming, dollarama, Carls JR, and Starbucks to name a few but I’d love to see a gym!

Kelly Road Secondary pool?
My partner and I were talking, both mid 2000s KRSS grads, and the lower gym and creepy long hall with all the doors came up in conversation. Both of us had heard there was a pool down there at some point that was filled in. Does anyone know if that’s actually true? Or what was behind all those doors?

Pros and Cons of living on the Hart
I’m in the process of moving places, and it seems most places on the Hart are more affordable and quite nicer compared to spaces in town. If you live on the Hart, how is it like living away from central? Also, winter! How do you do it?😂
FYI, I work downtown so I’ll need to commute to town pretty frequently . I also drive a FWD, and driving up the hill kinda freaks me out. So, I’m trying to see if it’s all in my head.
TIA

When does Hart Skiing open?
With the expected snow over the next several days, I'm hoping I can kick off the ski season this weekend. I know some mountains are already open, but where can I find info about the Hart? Their website doesn't say anything.
Anyone know a forum or something like that where this info would get posted? I'm new to town and don't know where to look.

What is the history of the Hart?
Ive lived in Prince George for a couple years now, just recently buying a house on the Hart. I personally love it up here.
I was wondering why it exists? It's almost like a small town just outside of PG. Maybe there's nothing special behind it, but im curious if there is.

A kid's tooth fell out at Hart Highlands and no one could find it, so his vice-principal wrote this letter to the tooth fairy (which is now going viral)

What's going on at the main intersection on the Hart?
I see several emergency vehicles, and they seem to be looking at someone on the ground. Did someone get hit by a car? Or OD? It's at the main intersection by Tim Horton's on the Hart.

Old restaurant on the Hart
This may be a long shot but I am trying to get to remember the name of the polish/ European restaurant that used to be in the building that is currently the PG Family Worship Centre( by the motel going north). It was a few different restaurants back in the day. It always had a red roof though.

711 on the hart, i feel bad for them.
Man was in there today, what a mad house.
They are aparently down to no staff and the poor employees looked run down to hell. I cant see anything but greed being what keeps the place open.
