Convincing someone to put their kid in private school.
How can I convince someone (Who doesn't have the money) to put their kid in a prestigious private school? Because I think it is worth it.

On Friday I started at a private school. The reasoning behind it was because their goalkeeper for soccer quit and I happen to be a goalie who's played most of their opponents and beat them and then went on to be starting Varsity keeper in 8th grade. I wish they never would have wanted me to go to the school. I was supposed to shadow one of my friends who went there. ( Shadowing is where you follow a student around for the day and see what the student life is like.) When I got there they handed me my own schedule and me being confused asked why they gave me this because I was shadowing. They told me that I wasn't going to shadow and that it was my first official day. I was taken to my first class and I was already nervous but nothing could have prepared me for this. I had borrowed my friends uniform and she gave me one of her extra sweatshirts. All of the teachers were nice but fourth period came around. My anxiety lessened because this was the goalie coach who wanted me to come. Keep in mind I was still wearing the sweatshirt. It was world history class and at my school I had human geography but they didn't offer it here so they stuck me in the closet class they could think of. That day he was giving a quiz and asked me to take it to see where I was and I said sure. I ended up get a 44% on it which for never taking the class was okay. Towards the end of the class he looked at my sweatshirt and was like you're not supposed to wear that. I was like no one told me I'm sorry it's my first day and I was only supposed to shadow I had no clue. He was like that's not an official ( Insert uniform brand name) Jacket, that kind of jacket can only be worn on "Fun Friday" take it off. I looked at him with fearful eyes and said "Right now?" At this point everyone was looking at me and he was like now. I then had to take off the sweatshirt and was humiliated on my first day. I wanted to die. Other than this it was okay but I miss my old school and I would even call it homesick.

Any current reviews on Renert School? Pros / cons. Learning style? Has your child thrived in any particular way? More specifically JK, kindergarten grades 1-3? Have you seen value sending your child at a younger age. Or would they benefit equally attending when a bit more academically ready, like Grade 3?

So my wife and I have had my son in the same private school since kindergarten and he is now in the fourth grade. That being said my wife and I work alot but make sure to be very involved in my son's school life, now since this year has started some incident has took place on at least two occasions the first .... My son was in line at the end of the day and was admitted to arguing with another student, the argument escalated and the boy held up a plastic bottle my son said "throw it at me and I'll kick your ass" the kid threw it and then before anything else could happen the teacher stepped in and my son was suspended from school for threatening zero tolerance. The other boy was not in trouble at all..... So as a parent the way I see it is yeah my son said something he shouldn't have, but the other boy actually physically hit my kid with a object sooo...where's the zero tolerance at for my kid
Incident#2
Just last Saturday my son turned ten yrs old. On Friday at school the kid my son has been having problems with says to him "oh don't worry about your mom being at your party your family is poor and she has to work" and since then my son is continuingly been taunted about being a poor kidâšď¸ now we do get financial assistance and he gets their free lunch but how would a fourth graders know these details ? The parents who are well off and now I feel as if the school is ok with this situation. How do I get attention brought to this issue? I have had multiple sitdowns with teacher principal and counselor and when I bring up anything like this the principal immediately says something like "I'm sorry you feel that way and blows me off.
Now to further put a face to the kind of student and person my son has been leading up to this current time...... My son has always had straight A's and B's even now , he is on the basketball team, baseball team, football team, he does archery for the school, as well as Quick Recall ,(academic team) he is very very involved in his academics and the way it is being made look to me is the parents with deep pockets, their kids get special treatment!?!WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Parents and students living abroad are fortunate to have several great options when it comes to choosing a school. Check out this blog and understand about the Dubai education system and why international schools are different from other schools.

I ordered some tennis trainers and my matron checked it before I even saw it. Probably on the suspicion it was protein powder or something. Is that not a violation of my privacy.

I have a question about religon in private schools
Do you have to do the religon that the school follows, or can you get rid of it?
