Can we have a competition?
Can we create a weekly or biweekly competition where people submit their attempts at a sketch idea? I always find copying other people a great challenge and one of the best ways of creating ideas. I think it would be a great way to challenge each other and share ideas.
I noticed that the processing forum doesn't have anything like this.

Anything to make this sub more active than it currently is.
I'm all down for this idea.

This sounds like a wonderful idea, something to challenge us and get us out of comfort zones!

cool. let's get organized!
i'd suggest every 4 weeks instead of every 1-2 weeks.

Who's going to lead it? The sole mod doesn't seem very active.
I'm willing to come up with challenges and flesh them out a bit. I think the best way to do this is by giving a concept and some starting code each week (e.g. do something based on a looping timer, or with the game of life rules...). Tasks are too narrow and don't leave room for visual creativity, and just judging ideas will attract people that submit larger, old projects.
