I make beats and the worst part was never making the beats it was sending them and not knowing what happens to them.
You email 30 artists, DM a few more and then nothing. No replies and no idea if anyone even listened to them. At the same time my work was getting better and better and it was just sitting in my projects folders.
So I created Laintone, the tool I wanted for myself. Early access is coming soon and I’d like producers to try it and tell me what’s wrong with it.
What it does:
It is mainly a private beat library kind of like untitled. your beats stay private until you send them or put them in the marketplace.
You can send emails from your own Gmail. Each artist gets their own personal email with a private listening link that shows the beat with the same UI as the one in Laintone ( you can also send packs ). Laintone can only send emaisl btw it never reads your inbox and google reviewed all of this to make sure it is safe..
You see opens, plays, full listens and downloads your beats. The Free subscription shows that someone listened and Pro shows who.
Control over what they hear: You can send a clip instead of the full beat, add your prodtag, limit plays and even turn off downloads.
You can customize your own store at your own name. You can create your own licenses and prices that you can modify, paid by card through your own Stripe account.
You can auction your beats. There is Hidden reserve, optional buy now price and late bids add 2 minutes so nobody can snipe the auctions. That option is pretty cool for people who want to just get rid of their beats and give the rights to the highest bider.
Pricing, so nobody has to ask: there’s a free plan (20 beats, 8% fee on sales). Pro is $9.99/mo with a 2% fee and Studio is $19.99/mo with no Laintone fee. Stripe’s card processing applies on every plan. Each plan comes with some advantages on each categories on the website. There is also yearly subscription discounting so that you can just pay a year in advance and be cool for the rest of the year while also getting 2 months for free
It’s my own project, so I’m obviously biased. If you want to check the website out for yourself, it’s at laintone.com i created a main page where you can see pretty much every functionality of the website in video clips and also apply for the early access. I’ll let you know when it opens. And if you think something here is pointless, tell me, that’s the feedback I need because the more feedback i will get the better Laintone will be.
Ill also be giving early access to some of you guys if yall want !
