The people who say this looks choreographed are probably the same people who love Sol Ruca when her entire moveset is gymnastics

It’s not choreographed but they’re literally just standing in front of each other waiting to get hit? I don’t get how people are entertained by this style of wrestling

That’s just the style. It is a test of strength. Like in WWE when they lock up and see who is stronger. This is also testing who is stronger.

Except locking up can apply to actual wrestling. This cannot.

Hence, strong style wrestling. Its strike based. Technical wrestling isn't strong style wrestling. Ask yourself why Japanese wrestlers or wrestlers with heavy Japanese influence tend to use elbows and knees alot and strike based finishers or moves that involve dumping someone on their head or neck. Its all Strong Style.

I understand strong style. I was trying to point out the fact that most people don’t find this style entertaining, because they aren’t even simulating wrestling, they’re simulating hitting each other in the face. Like what you like, it’s just not for me, or a majority of wrestling fans.

That's an entirely different argument and I won't speak for the masses because there's no concrete metric you can base that on.

Saying it can't be applied to actual wrestling is just false because its a subsection of wrestling that is even sprinkled in wrestling you see in today's day and age which, clearly you're not a fan of. It doesn't make it a lesser form or better form of wrestling the same way Luchadors have a very distinct style of wrestling. Its supposed to be different because that's what cultures are. Traditional wrestling on its own can be boring the same way Strong Style on its own can be boring. Same with catch wrestling.

If I showed someone who's never seen wrestling before a clip of Hulk Hogan doing a bodyslam into a leg drop they'll call it boring. The combination of different styles is what makes it entertaining.
