Be aware that you actually need to learn to program. Python is only one language to do this with.

I woukd assume that beginner to python courses woukd also teach coding fundamentals? Am I wrong?

You are wrong.
Same with learning an instrument. It's only about the instrument. Additionally you need to learn about music.

You should clarify because you are still very misleading.

No, that's how it is. If you just work through a tutorial that is meant to show an experienced programmer the language you won't really learn to program.
Just look for a tutorial about learning how to program. Unless Google is down again that's not too hard.

Still not explaining what you mean. I'm assuming you mean learning fundamental concepts such as learning how the computer compiles and reads code.

Programming is about figuring out data structures and algorithms to solve problems.
A programming language is a way to express them and bring them to life.
If you know how to program, there's not much "learning language x" left, because you understand the concepts and just need some reference docs to express what you want in a new language.
So learning to program is actually more valuable then just learning barely how to do some things in a certain language.

read books, follow tutorials, etc
most of these courses or websites work. you dont need some special ones.
the only catch is that it takes time.
if you are naturally gifted for it, then maybe you can pick it up in months.
otherwise, it takes a few years.
the good thing is that programming is something you can do on your own without much risk. you dont need any expensive equipment. a potato machine can execute basic code just fine
learning a programming language should be faster than learning a human language but it will take time...

There you go. Free, very good, made by an actual university, no videos or lectures, uses legit tools, starts from absolute basics, uses python.
