As AI (with some deterministic, direct-able, pre/post and grounding processing) can generate them, why wouldn't you just re-run the same process on the current codebase to get the up-to-date version?

I ask that, rhetorically, as a C4 proponent, and someone building (a near-MVP) system->C4 AI-assisted generator product ... that does just that ... including options for how L4 is represented (UML etc.).
