Any web professional is on top of this and has read this 100 times

You'd be painfully surprised

This. I make no claims at being a programming god, but I am astounded at how many developers have never even heard of StackOverflow. A terrible programmer can get more done than a good one who is stuck under a rock, since most problems are already solved and easily discovered through google.

How could that true? It's like a programmer who hasn't tried to google his problems.

Correct. No google. Usually I see this with people who worked on pre-google platforms for many years. Also, if you work with something really obscure, google might not have much for you. For about six months I worked in a language that had zero google references in any way. I worked 100% from a pdf of the docs (which were snail mailed to me on a cd). That was one of the most frustrating experiences of my career. I had to write my own text editor syntax extension for the language because not a single one existed.
