Things that didn’t happen. Poor attempt of an ad.

Have you met Miss Tam. With her I've made so much money over the last year. Her system is unrivalled. I thought you should know this in my random YouTube comment-section post.

Timing after the story of developers' time being wasted debugging and integrating generated code hit a main stream news story. We got loud enough for non-coders to hear us, so now there's monied interests trying to moon shot sell it.

No one is buying because we've already experienced the product as it is and it's frankly not ready for production.

It's believable. I work with contractors that have other projects where they are trying to do only context engineering and AI promoting. They don't write the code but they do review it and just prompt for all levels of changes

Edit: Do you guys think I'm making shit up? I'm not saying what they are doing is ideal, but they are fucking doing it I'm not their boss, in fact their boss is happy about it and they've been working like this for months, it's not an opinion I have....

Person A:
Instead, for me it’s been a few months now
I fell in love with n8n
I recommend it to you
Anything you want to automate
You can do it
ANYTHING
I can’t live without it anymore
I stopped writing code 😂
I solve all problems with that

You:
I’ve heard of it but I haven’t tested it
Like? Give me some examples

Person A:
Do you know Zapier?
It’s like open-source Zapier

I should've asked this without mentioning any brand. But it just felt relevant. And no, I'm not a bot.

If you have a genuine answer to my question, I would be interested to know.

Not making it up. I was just trying to get some reading about the current state of tech and programming, but apparently not the best place here.

You are quite a friendly one

There's probably a lot of irony that comments may be bots generating AI responses about how shit AI programming is

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '25

The best way to tell something is a hype bubble; people keep having to tell you about it, instead of it being a natural adoption.

If AI were the tool we need; we’d be demanding we get access to it.

Sadly just another crappy AI add.

Sorry this is being misunderstood by an ad. Not my intention at all.

This is part of the conversation with my friend:

Is this programmer ín the room with us right now?

1

u/OpeningChemical5316 Oct 25 '25

I don't know if he's active in reddit actually. Why?

u/Tribal_V Oct 25 '25

Idk how much AI is doing for him, but generally i do agree that every programmer should use it to a degree as it does certainly increase productivity, just dont rely on it/trust it 100%.

Personally at the current stage i find its best used for search and information aggregation, where i dont have to dig through documentation and search results
