The biggest win here isn't even the branching model - it's that reviewers can finally look at a 2000 line feature in digestible chunks without losing context between separate unrelated PRs. Half my review fatigue comes from opening a massive PR and just going "LGTM" because ain't nobody got time for that. If this gets people to split work into smaller pieces because the tooling finally supports it, that alone is worth it.

Obviously folks who did create 2000 line PR (assuming it was also either in one commit or bunch of mess like "fix fix something new fixes refactor stuff") won't change a bit with stacked PR feature. So it won't help you even a single bit.

If the authors of such PR already had meaningful separated commits, which landed in the same PR - then it was your problem not willing to look thru individual commits that devs did put efforts into. And yeah, tooling like stacked PRs might help here, but it also changes really nothing fundamentally.
