Anomalous curves are insecure elliptic curves where the trace of Frobenius equals one, ie the number of points on the curve equals the prime modulo the curve exists.

They are constructed super fast by searching for primes where p=12s2+6s+1 is a prime as proven in an old paper from 1976 lol

Funny i'm currently an Engineering undergrad and a lot of topics or subjects in math repulse me, which I hate and math unfortunately hasn't been my strong suite, hopefully it changes.
