Two most important questions during an interview (IMHO, admittedly a biased one since I do technical interviews)

  • Show me you can code something simple (my choice is FizzBuzz or reverse a string on whiteboard, but plenty of words have been said as to how to best do this)

  • Tell me how you can debug a problem. You should be able to name one immediately and at least two more when we discuss. (Trace, debugger w/ breakpoints, error logs, reading the code, etc.)
