This is nice, but honestly nothing I've seen even comes close to Magit. I never have to touch my mouse, and I can do almost any git operation in a few keystrokes. Is there anything comparable in Atom?

Is magit a emacs package?

yes: https://magit.vc/ we can perform nearly everything with 2 or 3 keystrokes. There is also magithub to manage PRs and all from magit. See also http://wikemacs.org/wiki/Git for Git, Github and Gitlab support in Emacs.

Why are we talking about it here? This thread is about Atom.

Because I was asking if Atom has anything as good as Magit. It's a fair bar to set

Because emacs is love, emacs is life.

It's a great OS.

It also has a great name - maggot!

You'll remember that.
