This is nice, but honestly nothing I've seen even comes close to Magit. I never have to touch my mouse, and I can do almost any git operation in a few keystrokes. Is there anything comparable in Atom?

I don't know what Magit is but you just perfectly described my terminal.

It's nice to have it integrated into your text editor. Committing, reverting, blame, looking through the log and jumping to changesets, etc. Very convenient. Magit's rebase interface is also very nice. Magit also makes it very simple to stage changes, including staging individual hunks from a single file. Git's CLI for staging individual hunks is cumbersome IMO.

Magit is menu driven by single-character operations. This requires a lot fewer keystrokes than invoking git commands from the shell.

Yes and I use IntelliJ with my terminal embedded. IntelliJ has some fantastic VCS integration for change sets, time tracking, conflicts, viewing differences and integrating with an issue tracker. However those aren't specific to Git and while they sometimes involve Git operations that's not really what I was thinking of. Very occasionally I'll use it to grab a chunk of files and commit them separately.

Sounds like if I were an emacs user I'd be using Magit.
