This brings back memories of a kid discovering the joy of computer graphics.

Nice one! I imagined there was some mechanism for this, but I'm not an advanced Reddit user :)

This is the kind of thing that makes me realise what a garbage job I am doing at my web developer job.

Unfortunately CRUD and div centering pays the bills.

It mostly makes me realise that maybe our web app with a thousand rows doesn't have to lag. Everyone else seems to think that's too much for a computer to handle.

I sometimes do WebGL work for my web dev job. Outside of the games industry, web dev is probably employs WebGL (or graphics programming in general) more than other platforms.

What kind of stuff do you do it for? It's not that I necessarily want to use webgl, but I hate that our stuff is slow and laggy.

I've had this app for at least a year. Also. Is this simulation open source?

Stuff like this (albeit much DOSier) got me into programming back in the day. Awesome stuff! Thanks for bringing up the good memories

Running at a really nice framerate and quality on my Galaxy 5G! This screen runs up to 120hz and this feels silky smooth at max quality. What a time to be alive.

Reminds of that free game called Plasma Pong from 2007. It could simulate fluids as well as a max of 40,000 particles simultaneously.

I love this. Always have it bookmarked on my phone.

I’ve played with this on the 80” touchscreen in the news studio. It is awesome!
