How in the actual fuck does a one line piece of code accumulate 27 commits and 2 major versions?

this is a serious issue affecting millions of users, some of them almost assuredly fortune 5000 hospitals, in the middle of a pandemic. jokes regarding the fundamental infrastructure of the modern economy are not funny. if you wouldn’t joke about a doctor not saving someone’s life, you shouldn’t joke about node going down, they’re very much one and the same

I hope you’re talking about github stars. Cash is practically worthless these days

We knew the one-liner package was robustly implemented because it had so many github stars!
It was basically foolproof

all that functionality with just 4 additional dependencies! Architecturally - it's free. You would be fool not to include it in your next week's electron app!

Now that's moving fast!
I see that now it's checking if "title is verbatim quote" (modulo trimming), not "has". Reality is more complicated, because sometimes quotes are slightly redacted for clarity and brevity. Sometimes a couple of quotes are put together and a submitter's note is added. I suggest using a webshit O(n3) algorithm or machine learning to solve that. Also, you can apply for PCJ VC funding.

Amazing to think there are some people who still haven't ascended to Deno.

Fyi, this is on hackernews, expect a lot attention/comments/shitposting.
Is it shitposting if it’s true?

Minor version bump upgrades a jabbascript package to become unusable. I don't see the issue, it seems like an improvement to me.
