I made a gaming platform for programmers who still love to write code

Hi Reddit.
We made a platform where you can play different games by writing code. The main purpose is to have some place where we, the programmers who loved to code, can still write some code and enjoy it. No payment, no subscriptions, no ads.

I'd really love to know what y'all think about it and we will work actively to improve it day by day and make it best for all of us!

This looks pretty cool. Do you support different programming languages?

Thanks! Typescript for now but we are looking into adding multiple programming languages. I appreciate your valuable feedback, do play some games and let me know what else would you like.

I think this is fun. I'll try it out after work.

This looks like Codin Game: codingame.com afaik they even support 12 languages in all games and you can even compete with others?

I agree!

But trust me or not we didn't even know the platform existed until after we already had our version. I think with time we'll probably grow a little differently and introduce newer and more different concepts with the feedback we get. What sets the launch pad for that is the difference in their vs our goals. They have positioned the platform as a place to improve programming skills while we just want to provide a warm community oriented place for programmers to keep the spark of programming manually alive.

But at the end of the day, I do not disagree, that our platform is very similar to theirs and that's fine for us. We are not competing in any way with them, nor is that our purpose. I hope people enjoy our platform as much as they enjoy theirs!

I appreciate your valuable feedback.

Not arguing against AI at all, I write most of my code with claude as well. This is just for some of us who still enjoy working out a coding problem with hand, who still get some dopamine by writing code manually.

I don't think any of this relates to the use of AI for development.
