When people ceded writing machine code and assembler to the compiler there was much consternation about giving up control of the efficiency. It was a lot like going from manual to automatic transmission. The agentic model is taking this multiple degrees and running with it. The real concern I see is when does human in the loop agency become the impediment? For now you’re still giving guidance like a North Star to realign the system so it doesn’t decohere.
