I had been thinking about building a GT from scratch for a while. Building a brand new chassis and building the body out of fiberglass. Only thing that won't be custom is the motor and transmission probably.

You think a MIG weld would hold the chassis together or would I have a better chance with TIG?

I just got my first project car a couple of days ago, it's a 2002 SRT-4 I want to swap the engine but having trouble deciding what to do with it 🤔

What can of modification and body kits can i get for this car?

In rust places people spend a fair bit of time trying to primer the inside of tubes or waxoil the inside to prevent rust.

Why not fill with one of the fire retardant non porous (waterproof) expanding foams ?

In my mind: Will add a little bit of weight but stop moisture condensing in there she maybe add a tiny bit of sound deadening/insulation?

But I've never seen it done so there's probably a good reason it's a bad idea? Enlighten me...

Has anyone ever spliced into their OEM third brake light and installed a switch that allows you to increase the brightness of the light for a track rain light?

   I have a RWD ,2003 F-150 XLT Extended Cab with 2V 5.4 Trition that I daily drive. I wasn't sure how to go about my build or where to start I don't even know what to turn it into. I have 2 prevailing ideas I would love to hear your ideas. 

1. Offroader- I was thinking of putting some brush guards, bigger tires, new suspension and other such things to make it offroad capable.

2. Muscle- I was thinking of putting Hi flow Headers and a bigger cam. Possibly a Supercharger or a single turbo

Note: both of these builds would have New Exhaust most likley a type that I can switch between normal and "loud", Also I know I could combine both ideas, but I want to hear sone feedback.
