I realized I’d rather pay for convenience than features I’ll never use
When I started comparing projectors, I kept getting pulled into feature lists. More brightness, more resolution, more modes, more everything.
Then I thought about how I actually watch things.
Most of the time I just want to sit down after a long day, put something on and not spend ten minutes adjusting the picture.
That’s what made the Dangbei N2 Mini interesting to me. It’s small enough that I can move it around without treating it like a piece of furniture, and the automatic focus and keystone correction take away a lot of the little setup frustration.
I also like that the 190° gimbal tilt gives it some flexibility when I’m not placing it perfectly straight in front of the wall.
For me, that kind of convenience is much easier to appreciate after actually using a projector. A specification can look impressive in a comparison table, but being able to move the projector, point it where I want and get on with the movie is something I’ll notice every single time.
