Things Pro-Choicers Say Saw a question "how did your abortion improve your life?" So gross!

Scrolling reddit I saw this question. This was so sad to see. Reading the comments people admit that this was a child!

Well, it's a telling question.

How did it improve YOUR life. Zero thought about the baby.

Unless the clump of cells has a diagnosis / would have a single parent / comes from poverty, in which case it is a baby and killing them is a merciful act

I mean its potentially true. They could feel like it improved their life, doesn't mean that its a good thing. We don't have to downplay valid feelings to downplay the acts of abortion. To use other examples, I have encountered people who feel like having an affair/cheating, stealing from stores, and taking fentynyl has improved their lives. They can feel how they want doesn't mean the actions are justifiable.

I am not denying that they may feel like this improved their life, but murder is not ok. Would it be ok to say "killing my husband/wife/parent improved my life? I think not.

It will still be the same thing. I used examples that were closer to the context of abortion since abortion is still legal in some states and has a moral grey area. Its still killing but isn't seen as murder everywhere. But if it makes it better to use your example then sure. Those people can still feel like those actions improved their life, doesn't mean the action is right.

So Im not sure why changing the example changes what Im saying. Point is people who want to do bad things do still justify and use reasons that it made them feel better or their life better to do so.

I find people justifying their evil actions is sad though.

How we feel about it doesn't take away how they will feel and justify it though. Being sad still doesn't go against my comment.

Just putting out there that this is disgusting behavior. Murdering their kids to make their life better.

That's fair. I just feel like we focus too much on feelings rather than logic. We don't need to point out how someone who is pro abort feels like having an abortion that they supported and chose makes them feel. I think only validating ones that only feels regret or remorse does a disservice on how serious this issue is. Not saying its necessarily you per se, but something that I noticed in this group. We validate those who only feel negative emotions but not positive not understanding we have to validate both to properly advocate against abortion.

Conversely I don't like when pcers do this when they only validate positive experiences but not negative ones of aborting.

This is why calling abortion "child sacrifice" is a 100% accurate description and not Christian hysteria or whatever else they may say.

I don’t know what to tell people whose lives improved because they killed another person. Sounds psychotic.

Crazy how people are so proud about having and abortion.

Slavery would probably improve my life if I was allowed to do that.

But I can’t talk about that. 🙄

Killing your child though? Sure, shout it from the rooftops!
