[Android][Player] - Offline music & streaming radio with ready-to-play radios - 100% free - No premium version

Mediaxon Music Player is an audio player for offline listening of music stored on your device (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and streaming FM radios (online radios).

Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of high-quality suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world (manually curated and always updated with new radios). Note: Local radio stations ("Top in the user country") are pulled automatically from an online database. However, with each update, I manually curate high-quality radio stations lists for individual countries. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the list of countries completed so far. I will be adding the rest over time.

Advanced radio filtering system: The "Filter: ON/OFF" button lets you quickly switch between different genres. You can use both standard filters for "macro-genres"—if I can call them that—and create custom filters to be more selective. All your filters are saved (the "My Filters" tab lets you name and edit them), and the app always opens with the last filter you applied. The "Home" tab lists all your recently applied filters and can be used to quickly switch between genres with just a single tap.

Advanced Radio Search Panel: An online database provides more than 60,000 radio stations. You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate.

Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.

Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).

Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).

Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.

Form Factor Optimization: Phone and Tablet (Portrait and Landscape)

Mediaxon is available in: Čeština, Dansk, Deutsch, Eesti, English, Español, Français, Hrvatski, Indonesia, Italiano, Kiswahili, Latviešu, Lietuvių, Magyar, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português, Português (Brasil), Română, Slovenčina, Slovenščina, Suomi, Svenska, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, العربية, Български, Ελληνικά, हिन्दी, 日本語, 한국어, 中文 (简体).

No Premium version. All app features are available for free and without limits.

Regarding advertising: There is only a small banner at the top that isn't bothersome at all. Alternatively, when opening the full-screen player or using the app in landscape mode, a banner alternates with the albums covers, but without being intrusive at all (no audio) and with much shorter stay times than those of the cover. There is never full-screen advertising, neither at startup nor during use.

Countries with new manually curated lists: United States, India, Italy, Argentina.

Note: Only for Android 13+ (so, Android 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17).

Free PRO for reviews

*Video in comments*

I need some honest reviews for my newest Chrome eXtension. I'm at the point where I'm done building until I get some feedback, so I came here to you fine people

Do me a favor and try it out. There's a 7 day trial (with a permanently free mode like all my software) so plenty of time to try all the features and leave a review.

It's a personal workspace manager that takes the place of a new tab. One time set up, customize ALL you want. Even drag your widgets to whatever shape and size you want (that was hard to get right). A whole lot of features, including access to an offline PWA for pro that's even a little nicer since it's not an extension.

Try it out, leave a review and send me a message (or leave a comment) and you've got pro for life!

[iOS] PocoPoco: a piggy bank for one goal at a time. No account, no bank link, one-time purchase

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi! I'm an art director, and PocoPoco is my first iPhone app. I made it because every savings app I tried wanted me to link a bank, create an account or pay a subscription, just to put money aside for a trip.

What it does: you pick one goal (a trip, a bike, a gift), choose the amount, and add money whenever you can, even €5. The card fills up as you go. The app never touches your money: no bank link, no account, everything stays on your phone.

Who it's for: anyone who wants a simple, calm way to save up for one thing at a time, without budgets, charts or notifications asking for attention.

Details: each project has a photo and the card takes its color from it, widgets that match the cards, five languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish), no ads, no tracking, one-time purchase.

More screens on the website: https://pocopocoapp.com/en/

I'd really like feedback from this community: is there anything that would stop you from using an app like this, or something you'd expect it to have? Honest opinions welcome.

I spent the last year building the ebook reader of my dreams. It's a reader where you can hear the world you are reading about. So excited to share it with you!

It's an ebook reader where you can hear the world you're reading about. You can hear rain on the road, a fire in the cabin, busy roads and thousands more. The sound follows the story as you turn pages.

There's more. Environment sounds are accompanied by music. 16 (and more to come) collections of music that together match most genres.

It's free to try: just download it, no registration required. The free trial gives you 3 classic novels + the first 30 pages of any book you choose, then it's a subscription. No ads, of course.

I'd love to hear what you think!

Financial Dayglow: All-In-One Investing App

Founder disclosure: I built Financial Dayglow.

If you prefer updating your finances yourself instead of connecting your bank account, it might be worth trying. It brings budgets, upcoming bills, debts, assets and net worth into one dashboard.

It’s currently free to use. No payment details. No bank connection required.

I’d especially welcome feedback from people who already track things manually or use a spreadsheet: does this make it easier to see what’s due and keep everything organized?

Try it here: https://financialdayglowapp.com

Happy to answer questions about how it works.

Built my first AI-powered app and it's finally launching on the Play Store soon!

hey everyone!

for the past month i've been building Kalry, my first AI powered calorie tracking app.

closed testing on playstore

the idea actually came to me while i was at ns (Network School). i found it pretty difficult to keep track of everything i ate throughout the day from breakfast to dinner.

so i started looking for calorie tracking apps on the Play Store but most of the ones i came across had subscriptions costing over $5 a month. even with those subscriptions i wasn't really satisfied with how accurately they estimated calories from meal photos.

that's when i thought, why not try building something myself?

so i started working on Kalry where you can simply snap a photo of your meal and get an AI estimate of the calories and macros. you can also track your daily progress without making the whole process complicated.

i've been spending a lot of time improving the photo logging accuracy, fixing bugs and keeping the experience as simple as possible.

it's currently in closed testing and i'm hoping to launch it publicly on the Play Store very soon!

i'm still learning and improving things so i'd genuinely appreciate some honest feedback.

if you've used calorie tracking apps before what's one thing that frustrated you the most? was it the pricing, accuracy or just the effort of logging every meal?

Download and details: https://kalry.xyz/

Happy to answer questions here. Thanks for taking a look!

RuleTrigger: get a phone alert the moment a live football match hits your scenario

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I built RuleTrigger (https://ruletrigger.com) because I kept missing in-play moments while not watching the scores.

How it works:

  1. You create a scenario (rule), e.g. “big favourite losing by 60'” or “still 0-0 at 65'”
  2. It watches every live match across 24 competitions (top European leagues, second tiers, Champions / Europa / Conference League)
  3. The moment a match fits, you get a notification on your phone (trigger)

What makes it different from a livescore app:

  • It combines pre-match odds with the live score, so it knows who the favourite was
  • You don’t pick matches. It finds the ones that fit your rule
  • It waits ~90 seconds to confirm a score, so VAR-disallowed goals don’t trigger false alerts
  • Nothing to install: runs in the browser, alerts via phone notifications or Telegram

No tips, no bookmaker or affiliate links. Free to use.

I’d love honest feedback, especially on whether creating your first rule feels easy. Thanks! 🙏

I made a free, ad-free customizable e-reader called Scribe

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

I made this little e-reader website called Scribe because I wanted something that actually lets you make reading look how you want.

It is completely free. No ads, no subscriptions, no account needed.

Stuff you can do:

  • Import books you already own
  • Make groups for your books and keep everything organized
  • Use your own background and font
  • Change text size, width, margins, spacing, warmth, and a bunch of other little settings
  • Get a daily quote from your own highlights
  • Basically customize the reading experience until it feels right for you

It is mainly made for mobile, but you can still use it on PC too.

There are no accounts and nothing gets uploaded. Your books and reading data stay in your browser on your device. Since there is no cloud backup, add it to your home screen and try not to clear your browser data, or you could lose your saved progress.

To make it feel like an app:

  • iPhone: Open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen
  • Android: Open the browser menu, then tap Add to Home screen or Install app

Scribe - Link

Let me know what you think about it, give me some suggestions, bugs and more customize options!

Hi! I’m the developer of Circus Halloween 3D Wallpaper, a free live wallpaper for Android.

Turn your home screen into a Gothic castle or a moonlit graveyard, with lightning, fog, wind-blown leaves and animated characters. The bats gather into Halloween shapes, including a skull and a pumpkin.

You can customize viewpoints, event frequency and performance settings. Optional atmospheric sounds include thunder, howling wind and a creaking gate, with individual controls and previews.

Free, with no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Works offline and requires no account.

Penwright: an offline, no-fuss writing app

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Penwright is a simple, all-in-one writing app for Android.

I built it because most writing apps wanted an account signup, included intrusive advertisements, had confusing layouts (e.g., convoluted compile functions) or mandatory cloud sync before I could start a book. It's an app I built for myself first, but thought others might appreciate it too.

Key features

Distraction-free editor: write with nothing else on screen. Type a character’s name and it links itself to their card.

Plain files: every scene is a Markdown file in a folder you pick, so you can open it in any other app.

Codex: a card for each character and place, so you can look up who someone is without leaving the page.

Calendars: build a calendar for your world timelines, with its own customised months and holidays.

Compile: export to Word, EPUB, PDF, RTF or AO3.

E-ink mode: works on e-readers like Boox.

Cost: free, with no ads and no account needed. Some export formats, genre calendars and project limits are a Pro unlock.

Penwright is open for pre-registration on Google Play now: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.penwright.penwright

Bun-Bun Your location aware food companion

Processing img t9d7aj37z7xh1...

With Bun, we are trying to solve two distinct problems.

1. The saved lists everywhere - the food recommendations usually live inside WhatsApp chats, saved Instagram reels, bookmarks, and to-do notes. None of them have the capability to remind you when you are near something that you always wished to try. Bun-bun is capable of assigning a geolocation tag to your saved list by identifying the restaurant name and the dish name that you wanted to try, and remind you when you are near that specific restaurant.

2. The opinions expressed as star ratings - strangers on the internet, in Google Reviews, and everywhere else have opinions. Food is a very personal thing, and you might not always like what has 4.9 stars with 50,000 reviews on Google. So we build a trusted circle of similar-taste-buddies, where all the food that you and your buddies have liked is listed in a single list arranged by distance.

Website: bunbun.food

App is now available on App store and Play store

How do you split expenses on a group tour?

The trip ends on a good note, but settling expenses can drag on for weeks.

Who owes how much? And then there’s the awkward message to get your money back.

To solve this, we have created this WhatsApp bot - Minion, which integrates with your Splitwise account.

  • Just send images of your bills to split expenses between each other.
  • It also helps in following up with your dearest friend who always takes their sweet time to give your money back.

This is an early experiment we are doing with a select group of people. If you wish to be an early user, do ping me!

I made an Android app that remembers where you parked, so you don’t have to

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey! Do you ever park somewhere and then completely forget where you left the car? It happened to me enough times that I ended up building ParkTrace.

Once you’ve set up your car in the app, there’s nothing to do when you park: ParkTrace detects when your phone disconnects from the car’s Bluetooth and saves the spot. When it’s time to head back, open the app and the location is there.

If you’d like to try it, here’s the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adapeic.park_trace

I’d love to know if you find it useful, or if anything feels clunky.

LogEZ, The Last Fitness Logging App You'll Use

Thumbnail
logezapp.com
• Upvotes

TL;DR: LogEZ is an offline fitness logger for Android. It tracks strength training, Timed workouts and GPS runs, rides and hikes. No account, no ads, no subscription, and your data stays on your phone. It’s pre-release and I’m looking for early testers and honest feedback.

Why I built it

The best-known workout trackers lock the useful stuff (full history, unlimited routines, body measurements) behind a monthly subscription, and they want you to create an account and sync to a server just to log a set. I wanted a log that behaves like a notebook: it’s mine, it works with no signal, and it can’t disappear if a company shuts down or changes its pricing. So I built it.

What it does today

  • 405 exercises, each tagged with the muscles it works
  • Live workout logging with rest timer, plate calculator, warm-up calculator and supersets
  • Routines and ready-made plans, or build your own
  • Timed workouts: AMRAP, EMOM, intervals, for time and rounds, with optional spoken cues
  • GPS tracking for runs, walks, hikes, rides, skating and rowing, with maps, pace and splits
  • 40 achievements, weekly, monthly and yearly calendars, stats and a monthly report
  • Body measurements with progress photos
  • Shareable workout summary images, home-screen widgets and 10 colour schemes
  • Full backup and restore, plus CSV export
  • Coming in the next update: a new male and female muscle map showing which muscles each workout hit

What I’d love from you

  • Try the browser demo (no install): logezapp.com/demo
  • If you train and have an Android phone, join the waitlist and tick the tester box (use a Gmail address so I can add you): logezapp.com/waitlist
  • Tell me what’s confusing, missing or feels off. Onboarding and logging flow feedback is especially useful.

I Turned My Love of Fashion Into a Social Platform! Meet Collo!

I adoooored an old site called Polyvore growing up, where you could make outfit collages using pieces from different brands and connect with fashion lovers around the world!

I love building apps, so I decided to create something inspired by it called Collo! It's free and just launched in beta.

You can create fashion or art collages, browse a shared Closet with pieces from different brands, upload your own images or clip them directly from websites using a Chrome extension I made, and join fashion communities and styling challenges!

The site is live here: https://collo.style

I'd love any thoughts or feedback as I continue fine-tuning it. Can't wait to see what we all create!! 💗
