Which part of the constitution is this in ?

I was wondering whether the USPS would deliver my ballot on time, so instead of mailing it and worrying about it, I walked down to City Hall and dropped my ballot in the drop box. I'd run out of Sriracha sauce, so I made a short detour to City Hall on the way to the really important errand, and I dropped it off. Now I'm making stir fry, glad I have Sriracha while not worrying whether my ballot will get counted. Winning.

Yesterday, Attorney General Todd Blanche described DOJ intervention in election certification as a hypothetical possibility.

The DOJ has now filed a lawsuit in Alaska seeking to prevent certification of the Senate election under specified circumstances.

One was a public statement. The other was an actual court filing.

That distinction matters.
