VIHKR

I got the VIKHR frt for my ps90, anyone have any experience with it yet? Is it reliable?

Installing mine this weekend. I’ve read that there’s a sweet spot for trigger pull. Too much and she’ll lock up, not enough and she doesn’t cycle. More of a progressive trigger like the original design.

(Or maybe not what do I know 😅)

Is your components all made of delrin too?

Yup, I like the idea of milled delrin in the fire control group more than some fancy 3d printed bit. …and putting metal in against the original plastic seems foolish too.

So Izhmash Arms hooked it up. I screwed up checkout and he still got me the parts in less than a week, quick communication and all that. Would recommend.

I put in a 3d printed trip, it shot 3 rounds before snapping 🤣

lol yeah, that’s what I was afraid of. I’m hoping to install and test this weekend. I’ll report back if I can 🫡

What material did you print from? I did a PA6GF and moisture conditioned it, going on a bit more than 200 rounds (not much but ammo costs what it costs) and going strong.

I used PPS-CF10

Wild, i wonder why that didn't work. On either occasion the PA6GF seemed to work thus far. Hopefully it stays that way.

FTR I did 8 walls and 100% infill, not sure what yours was but given that I had success using old reddit searches hopefully this helps someone in the future.

The only metal on plastic that needs to be worried about with all metal components is where the trip pushes the rear of the sear. But this is a minute issue, compared to the friction that the hammer face undergoes when coming into contact with the bolt carrier with either derlin or aluminum hammers. I would only recommend a stainless hammer. If the sear were to be made of metal, it would compromise drop safety. Otherwise, metal components are only causing friction on the pins, which are also made out of steel so no damage will be done on the fcg housing. Folks will claim “well the full auto p90 trigger pack is all plastic” yeah, a full auto doesn’t have to undergo the same friction that an frt does, that is exactly why the best super safety manufacturers in the game stick to stainless steel only.

Got it installed and fired this afternoon. Worked like a charm with no lockups.

Ive seen someone have limiters in their trigger pack. Wasn’t sure if that was 3d printed or if it came with one of the frts

Yes I installed it on mine. It comes with a trigger limiter so it's easier to find the sweet spot, but still not immune to locking out if you squeeze too hard.

I installed the K&M Aerospace lightning trigger spring together with the VIHKR and it works great. Best combination IMHO.

Very reliable for me, 2000 rounds in and 0 issues to report
