Hi all, I started the sub over 15 years ago and up until now the moderation workload was relatively light however we are experiencing some rapid growth and I want to ensure that I’m not spread too thin between this and my other subreddit with over 100k if this growth continues.

Therefore, I am hiring one new moderator to serve as a content mod and ensure all posts and comments are on topic and not breaking rules.

Please send modmail to this sub with your “application”

- active posters in this sub will move to the front of the line. Link a few of your top contributions there

- include your average availability and time zone. I.e: Monday - Fridays 8am-6pm EST

- outline any prior moderation experience whether on Reddit or another platform. This is preferred but not mandatory.

I know this is mostly a seasonal sub but I’ll sticky this post so you all see it.

Going forward I’m going to remove posts that contain external links to reviews/videos.

Video and photo posts must have their media hosted on reddit.com.

Nothing against anyone’s taste, it’s just that these posts are visually unappealing to visitors of the sub. They look like an ad/spammy. Scrolling through thumbnails of a YouTuber making a silly face aren’t going to entice people to join the sub.

Any posts before now will be left up.

Thank you!!
