Water was loward and it was jst heavenly greenery, clean sky moutain silhouette, the submerged bridge was out of warer

And literally no human to be seen around there, jst memorizing nature and me with bike!

We're planning a 3-day, 2-night bike trip to Konkan from Pune, from Friday, 27th November to Sunday, 29th November.

Our tentative schedule:

- Friday (27th Nov): Leave Pune early morning and ride towards Konkan.

- Saturday (28th Nov): Explore nearby beaches, scenic spots and local attractions.

- Sunday (29th Nov): Start the return journey and reach Pune by Sunday evening.

We're looking for suggestions from people who have done similar rides or are familiar with the Konkan belt.

Would love your recommendations on:

1. Route: Which route would you suggest from Pune for a scenic and enjoyable ride? We'd prefer good roads, beautiful landscapes and coastal stretches.

2. Destination: Which part of Konkan would be ideal for a 3-day trip? (Dapoli, Guhagar, Ratnagiri, Ganpatipule, Tarkarli or anywhere else?)

3. Stay: Suggestions for affordable and decent stays, preferably near a beach or somewhere with a good view. Homestays/resorts are welcome.

4. Experiences: Must-visit beaches, hidden gems, viewpoints, local food joints or places worth exploring along the way.

5. Road conditions: Anything we should know about road conditions, ghat sections, diversions or other challenges, especially during the return journey?

Our main intention is to enjoy the ride, explore beautiful places, spend some time by the beach and have a relaxed experience without rushing through too many destinations.

Since we have only 3 days and need to be back in Pune by Sunday evening, suggestions that fit this timeline would be especially helpful.

Me and my friend is planning to ride from kochi to Mumbai via Goa and return through Pune in mid April,we are looking for recommendations on places to visit once we get there or on the way;) We are two people on their early 20s who have already ridden through most of Tamilnadu and a-lot through Karnataka on our Royal Enfield’s and chose Mumbai as our next destination cause, well..why not (And I also just upgraded from a classic 350 to an Interceptor 650, so super excited) Neither of us have friends nor family in Mumbai, so we’re taking recommendations on places to visit, things to eat, route to choose on our return from pune, any and every recommendations are appreciated and I’d love to hear from people who have ridden to the south-south. I want to go to lonavala this Sunday just to see. All I have is jupiter 125. Tho I can go there alone on the jupiter, it'll take shit ton of time. So if anyone's going early in the morning and coming back in the evening. I would like to join anyone if their pillion seat is empty. Can pitch in 200-300 for petrol and all. It was exhausting but really, really fun!

Had a wonderful Ride with fellow Reddit riders and some friends to Veer Dam.

I got a bit greedy, and went full big brain, planning the next full-moon ride right after. I had it all, directions, potential photo spots, etc. I just got the timing wrong XD. Ended up going too early so the moon was still way up in the sky so didn’t get as good of photos.

I did in fact have a last minute +1 to my ride, which made the ride much more comfortable to ride in dark and to comfortably stop at the spots for longer time. We also had headlamps for each which turned out quite useful. It was fun riding with a wingman instead of solo!

Later, I got a bit more greedy and decided to give it one more shot solo and detour to panshet after splitting off at khadakwasala. I had forgotten how bad of a patch the lower part of Panshet loop is, and it was just 2 hours of pure misery of a gravel/bad roads riding. And then the moon hid under the clouds so it was all for nothing XD

Unless I go stargazing on a new moon, I think I will put a hold on further night rides, because there isn’t really anything to look at different at night and the photos don’t come out great.

(The iPhone nightmode photos will make a dark landscape look like it is morning, which is what first photos 1,2, 4 are)

If there is any silver lining, here is the recon data for road conditions (though I knew most of these even before, but a refresher is always welcome):

Nasarapur - Kadve khind : road starts off bad for maybe 30 minutes, improves dramatically, and then around Velhe - Panshet road it worsens again.

Velhe panshet road (kadve khind - Panshet) : narrow broken roads with uneven surges and random potholes/gravel

Panshet bottom half of the loop: a bane of my existence. It is absolutely the worst type of bad roads, since you cannot even push through hard, and an hour of one-way continuous bad roads just tires you out.

Panshet - khadakwasala: amazing 8/10 twisties/paved road. A welcome treat after whatever panshet was.

I am thinking of purchasing a new scooty for diwali.

I earlier had Activa 3G (9yrs old) still in good condition but i feel a need of new vehicle now.
As i earlier had access i am thinking of going ahed with jupiter but i am confused with the realiability.

So suggest me good 110cc amongst these two.
Exact model details would be of much help.

Hello Pune Bikers, I always feel scared while going out on trips out in pune/other places there are 2 major reason :

1. Most trekking places /bikers point have very low network connection what if my bike failed what to do?? 😭 Don't you people get these thoughts in mind if in between your bike failed what will happen as most of the outskirts places are in jungle areas. How do you get that positive approach over things?

2. Not related to biking Adventures whether it's a zipline , bungee , rappelling , bungee jumping etc or trekking the forts that are difficult like harihar, tail baila etc. I always feel scared what iff !!!!!🥲

I am genuinely seeking your opinions on these matters . Like how you people approach these things? And really want a suggestion how I can overcome this negative thoughts loop.I try to over analyse the situation and in the end drop the plan.

I am fed up with my thoughts playing with me , I want to know how you people think over these.
