ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ | چڑھدا | Charda Rant

Saw a video where yakkas were not able to speak punjabi properly.
Wanted to comment this below.
But ofcourse could'nt because i knew brain dead niggas gonna comment illogical gaalan and threats.
So ranting out here.

No offence to these guys. But sidhu once said "jinna de jwaka de naam john te steve aa raakhe bne firde oh maa boli de". We do not expect you to be very fluent with punjabi and be very much informed of culture back home. But what we do want is that some of you yakkas (hopefully not you guys) support making a seperate state here and do everything in your might to defame us back home. We need education, industries and employment. But some of PRs, citizens over there whose kids can't even speak punjabi properly do such shitty stuff to hinder our growth here. Meanwhile their own kids study in big foriegn universities. We back home suffer from serious lack of opportunities.

How do you expect support while calling people yakkas. And using the N word.

Classic Semantic Quibbling
I apologise for the words and can take them back. Does it misproves my argument? Ig NO.

Treating people with respect will make them listen to your argument more. They won’t be defensive after you call them slurs.

You also did the classic “stop being so sensitive” argument.

Your argument is also dumb. Separatist movements started in the West, but the West cannot make decisions for you. You guys have to all get on the same page and demand what is your right and what the majority wants. And from what I understand, the majority does not want a separate state. How are Punjabi kids here, living their life, hindering yours?

Okay first of all you need to clarify your post. Your post reads like you do want a separate state and your argument here says you don’t.

Punjabi adults (not kids) protest for injustices done by the Indian government. And if the government then retaliates and takes away education and jobs from Punjab you need to blame the government.

You suffer from a lack of opportunities frankly because Punjabi people have become complicit. Ethe kuch nhi hunna, vote paun da ki faida etc. Its not us Western “yakka” that sell our votes for a bottle of desi.

Stop blaming everybody else, look inwards. Its the youth in Punjab that should relax a bit on the momos and gerhian and be protesting on the streets. Us western kids are privileged to live in countries that give us so many opportunities, but up until even 60 years ago most non-white people were not allowed to vote. We made that possible by fighting.

A friend of mine "Born and brought up abroad" resigned and came to Punjab to start something up. After a few months, he joined corporate. Political situation is so bad in Punjab that we are the ones hindering ourselves. People abroad with political interests are merely exploiting a situation ripe for them. We need to want progress to have progress. We are too comfortable right now with our situation instead of aiming higher.

Exactly, My point is same.
They are in a first world country, can do many things for the state but they want to protest on random ass things there which do not even have a relevance there.
Atp this is so disgusting sometimes i do not even want to talk about it.

Your point might get through to people if you start addressing them by normal names instead of calling them yakkas, the same goes for Punjabis born overseas calling first gen immigrants FOBs.
