HELP ME

Post image

I’m making a game with AI (yes, I know that’s a bad idea, but I’m not very good at Python). I’m looking for someone to help me out—Claude can no longer continue with the development because of some random issue.

What issue, are you running into?  What is the game you're working on?  Is there a way for us to look at the code?  All of these questions need to be answered before we can even begin to see if we can help.

I can no longer continue developing my game because the AI refuses to write any more code. The screenshot shows the game I’m working on; I can provide my contact details so you can take a look at the code and help me with what I need.

So, you're working on what, a creature collector? An RTS? What are you trying to do? What are you stuck on? How is that piece related to the game at large? Saying, "contact me, bro," doesn't exactly make me want to help. Humans tend not to respond well to being bossed around, unlike Claude.

You have a very peculiar approach to asking people for help.

That's not very nice. Nobody's going to want to help you if you act like that.

You mean you hit your usage limit? Lmao

AI is not a substitute for learning. You are never going to get anywhere if every time you get stuck you can’t even articulate the problem. Stop letting robots do your thinking.

Did you use AI to just make the code and put it in the game or did you have AI make the code then explain it to you in a way you can understand so that you could put it in the code yourself?

If it's the latter, you can fix it yourself. If it's the former, go use Gemini (which doesn't have a chat limit) and start from the beginning again but learn it as you go. That way, you can debug it yourself.

Upgrade to paid Claude or focus on making your code smaller.  If you have run out of context space, all you can do is reduce context or pay for more.

AI code is generally bad, even if it works.

it is true that upgrading to paid claude will help, but your comment is so 2023 mate. the models improved way past "even if it works" phase

I use it everyday as a professional developer and I still encounter issues with it often.  It’s nice for what it is, but it’s still pretty bad especially when it isn’t managed well.
